Things we should think about are:

Check out a location before shooting

Location permission

Safety of buildings and conditions

Weather - cameras need protecting from rain/moisture

Clothing (consider weather/any protection needed)

Safer in a group (min 2)

In the studio

Dark conditions
Hot lighting
Trip hazards
Falling equipment
Electrical hazards

Equipment must be be PAT tested – Portable Appliance Testing

Knowing how to use equipment
Do not stand on chairs for camera angles (falling hazard)

Working on the computers

Size of screen for good vision
         Posture
         Use Risk Assessment

Using  a camera

Use a neck strap to prevent dropping
Use a camera bag to protect from weather
Protect the lens with UV filter or lens hood
Use lens caps to protect from dust
Change lenses quickly to avoid dust in camera
